May 11, 12:30 – 1:30 pm, Free Virtual event

Have you ever wondered what the county’s historic preservation program was all about? What is the difference between a historic survey and a designation for a historic property? What is the Harford County Historic Landmark Program and how does it assist property owners?  All of these questions and more will be answered at the upcoming Brown Bag Lunch program celebrating Historic Preservation Month.

Jacob Bensen, Harford County’s Historic Preservation Planner, previously served as an architectural historian for a Baltimore Engineering firm, a museum assistant for Harford Community College and the Historical Society’s administrative assistant. His knowledge of Harford County’s varied history, its architectural offerings and the programs available to help local property owners maintain these monuments to our past is extensive.

Join us to learn how you can become a part of this countywide effort to preserve Harford’s buildings, participate in the county tax credit program and take this opportunity to ask questions of this knowledgeable speaker.
